Would it be so awful to have a robot caretaker when we are too old to bend down and pick up our socks or go back and forth from the frig to the TV with ease. Could we have them designed to look like the man or woman of our fantasies, eye candy for our old age. How about teaching them to laugh at all our jokes and refuse to criticize us no matter how many times we ask them if it is too hot or cold, or where they think we left the keys.
